Sometimes changes and enhancements are needed as we develop to add features to the darts which we feel will improve our game & that’s exactly what David Wawrzewski has done. Compared with the phase 1 darts, these have a few notable changes; 

A) The nose of the dart has a longer radius to make it smoother & help deflections

B) Vibrant “Fire” red painted grooves in the centre of the dart adding the finishing touches to the aesthetics

C) The front and rear sections above and below the painted grooves have changed from flat/square grooves to radiused ones to slightly reduce the grip levels (the grip is still really positive just less sharp edges

At the centre focal grip section of the barrels around the painted grooves grip intensity, on a scale of 1 – 5 would most likely be around 2.5 – 3 and do not hinder the release in any way, due to over grippiness. Comparing the grip level for example to our 90% tungsten Justin smith signature darts and our Mike Gillet signature dart these definitely fit around half way between the two extremes.

The front of the dart, is a radiused nose (longer as already described than the phase 1 darts), which leads in to a parallel section and then a taper at the shaft end to the shaft diameter. We have used a 95% tungsten material to keep the diameter slimline, for tighter grouping & optimum performance. The barrel in appearance is simple but don’t let that deceive you of its effectiveness combined with material selection and balance.

The darts come complete with standard shape branded 150 micron flights, a set of nylon shafts, weigh 22 grams and are contained within a sleek, compact blister pack. Laser engraved with the Quantum Darts logo for finishing touches and stamp of quality.
