Description
Changes in grip / design sometimes becomes necessary as time progresses & additions of features which we feel will enhance our game are added to raise the standard to the next level. This is exactly what Mike Gillet has done with his phase two barrels. You will note the following changes in comparison to the originals.
- The front section, which is a focal section for Mike in terms of grip has been modified to include some closely pitched flat edged grooves. These are not deep cut, so it isn’t aggressive by any means but does give a more solid feel than it being completely smooth.
- Some contrasting painted grooves towards the rear of the barrel which just set them off nicely with matching stems / flights & the packaging.
- Radiused grooves along the rear taper which does aid these being suited for someone other than Mike who grip the barrel nearer towards where it mates with the shaft.
The barrel contour with an extended rear taper means the centre of gravity/balance is shifted further towards the nose end, which is also perfect for mike given his finger placement nearer to the point/nose.
The darts come complete with standard shape branded Rugged 150 micron flights, a set of nylon shafts, weigh 24 grams and are contained within a sleek, compact blister pack. Laser engraved with the Quantum Darts logo for finishing touches and stamp of quality.
